High Voltage Low Voltage Motor Wiring Diagram

Dual voltage (high and low volt) 3 phase motors always have the wiring diagram for each voltage printed on the motors nameplate. So explain this to me:

The original wiring diagram showed the proper arrangement of windings to create a larger wye system in which there are four equal windings between any two leads. I'm not sure how to connect to my three wire (hot/neutral/ground) pigtail. You would wire it high voltage if you were supplying 460v. Sometimes you apparently need to rewire a 3 phase motor for low voltage 230v as opposed to 460v in order to connect the motor to a vfd.

The rated voltage is different, the starting and working current are different, the higher the voltage, the smaller the current;the insulation and voltage resistance of the motor are also different, and the winding wires of the motor are the same.
